My first Jelly Roll or as Pat says Jolly Roll

It's been a long time away from the sewing machine. Great to be back!
Like Pippa from Welsh Quilts I've been making a 'tube' quilt from a magazine and yes it has been quick.

At least the piecing was and the free motion quilting is going well. Just over half way

Lots of bits over to make practice quilt sandwiches have been helpful as a reminder of how to do it.My friend Babs fell in love with it. Working on it to order has shared some of the decision making

Once this is done I'll be finishing off the Lone Star. Honest!
